Meg Wortman is the creative services manager of the Steamboat Pilot & Today. She oversees the composing department, which is responsible for the production of advertisements and special sections in the newspaper. She previously has served as the news editor and a copy editor for the Pilot. She has been with the Pilot & Today since July 2003. Meg graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a bachelor of journalism degree in news editorial. She worked at the Daily Nebraskan, UNL's student paper, and completed an internship at the Lincoln Journal Star. When Meg's not at work, she can be found snowboarding down Mount Werner in the winter and tubing down the Yampa River in the summer.
