Workin’ in the woodshop
Two men are hard at work in the woodshop with the picturesque view just off Colorado Highway 13, north of Craig. As they cut, sand and stain, the smell of wood is heavy in the air. Lee Schrock, owner of Mountain View Furniture at 34309 N. Hwy 13, said his favorite part of the work is “seeing a beautiful finished product.” “I decided before I started, if I couldn’t build great furniture, I’d quit,” he said.
Lee Schrock loads wood into a wide-belt sander Thursday at Mountain View Furniture. Pieces of wood are glued together and sanded to make the finished product smooth.
