Summer Activites
Elkhorn Outfitters, Inc. Guest Ranch offers summer horseback trips for five days for groups of eight to sixteen people maximum, starting the first of June. Guests will stay at our lodge which provides all the comforts of home. From there you will use our experienced guides to go on several different area horseback trips. We emphasize horsemanship, photography, and wildlife viewing to make your scheduled vacation a one to remember!
Activities to choose from include:
Horseback riding
Fishing with driftboats on the Yampa river or our private lakes with personalized fishing instruction from our certified instructors.
Cattle drives trailing cattle from pasture to pasture
Sporting clays and instruction
More wildlife viewing than you can imagine
Morning or evening Photography rides
And last but not least enjoying the peace and quiet of our little corner of the west.
Come join the fun on our historic family owned 50,000 acre ranch in North West Colorado. The Blue Gravel Ranch has a rich tradition in family history and welcomes all to come and participate in all aspects of our great ranching heritage. We only book one group per week of up to 16 people. Our ranch trips are specially planned to meet all of your expectations of a truly western experience.
